X-Dimensional
Tilt a space with more dimensions than you can picture.
X-Dimensional is a tilting puzzle in two to six dimensions. The space is drawn as nested grids: each small grid is a flat slice, slices sit side by side and in rows, and wider gaps separate the higher dimensions. Tilt along any axis and every free orb slides until something stops it. Lock an orb on every socket in as few tilts as possible, then compare your total with the exact par.
How to play
- Tilt the space along one axis with the arrow pad, the arrow keys or a swipe on the board: every free orb slides that way until the next cell is the edge, a wall, a locked orb or an orb that already stopped.
- An orb that comes to rest on an empty socket locks there for good and becomes an obstacle like a wall. Orbs slide straight over sockets they do not stop on, and any orb can fill any socket.
- Every axis has a letter and a colour. A step along a higher axis lands on the same spot in the neighbouring slice, row of slices or group, so one tilt can move orbs between grids you would never think of as neighbours.
- Hovering or focusing an arrow previews where every orb will stop. Some tilts make the board impossible, and spotting them is part of the puzzle. Undo steps back and Restart returns to the start, but neither refunds a tilt.
- Your score starts from the board's difficulty, which grows with every extra dimension, and adds up to 15% for accuracy (tilts against par, undone tilts included) and up to 15% for speed.
What it trains
Holding a space you cannot see in your head: following each axis through the nested grids and ordering the locks so each locked orb becomes the stop the next one needs. Explore Spatial Reasoning training →
Improvement figures are observed in-app score gains, backed by peer-reviewed cognitive-training research.
Difficulty
Each dimension from 2D to 6D has ten levels, from a single orb and a two-tilt lesson to boards with up to four orbs that need 10 to 12 tilts. Every board from 3D up is checked so that it cannot be solved inside a flat slice, and each extra dimension raises the difficulty by half.
