Yes. All Apexwit games are free to play, at every difficulty level, with no ads and no signup. An optional subscription (from €1.99/month on the 5-year plan) only adds cloud backup so your scores sync across devices.

Do I need to sign up to play?

No. You can start playing immediately on the web or in the iOS and Android apps. An account is optional and only used to back up and sync your scores, streaks and progress across devices.

What devices does Apexwit work on?

Apexwit works in any modern web browser and as a native app on iOS and Android. Your progress can sync across all of them with a free account.

Does brain training actually work?

Benefits are specific rather than magical. Apexwit’s games are built on tasks from peer-reviewed cognitive research (such as Jaeggi et al. and the ACTIVE trial), and we report observed in-app score gains rather than promising broad real-world or medical outcomes.
