Firebreak

Bank energy. Shape the fire. Save the house.

Firebreak is a turn-based wildfire puzzle on a small hillside. Bank energy, time a flash burn and protect the house with water. All three tools stay available, each with its own price; energy refills each turn up to a cap, and waiting banks it for later. Every map is generated live and proved before you see it.

How to play

  1. Each turn, act once or wait; then the fire spreads. You win as soon as waiting would keep the house safe.
  2. Every tool costs energy. Energy refills each turn up to a cap, and waiting banks it for the turn you need it.
  3. The Shovel digs a trench, the Bucket pours water that runs downhill from lakes and pipes, and the Torch can flash burn a dry cell to ash before the fire gets there.
  4. Fire heats uphill hardest, and on windy maps it carries heat downwind. Brush catches fastest; grass, thicket and forest hold out longer.
  5. Only a saved house scores. Harder maps score more, a quick and accurate save adds a bonus, and every hint costs part of the score. Undo and Retry take turns back.
